HMP Wymott
HMP Wymott is a Category C men's prison near Leyland in Lancashire, operated by HMPPS. Opened in 1979, it was the scene of major riots in 1986 and 1993 that destroyed two wings, and now holds both mainstream Category C prisoners and men convicted of sexual offences.
